Senior Massage

This isn’t necessarily a separate modality because I have senior clients that receive deep tissue techniques and others that prefer Swedish style massage. I have many clients that are seniors, and I understand that they have wellness needs that are very specific to this population. Massage can help reduce the effects of conditions that older individuals face such as arthritis, neuropathy, edema, circulation problems, sleep disturbances, and general discomfort. We can discuss in the initial consultation the level of assistance needed in getting onto and off the massage table and any other special requirements a senior client might have. I am happy to provide a high level of professionalism to every message and I ensure that every client is comfortable and safe. I can also offer the use of a massage chair if my client feels more comfortable in a seated position.
